
May 19, 2019, Tokyo, Japan – Sakie Yokota (C) mother of Megumi Yokota who was abducted by North Korea, looks at the boxes with 13,414,325 signatures requesting to solve abduction issues with North Korea prior to the meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Abe expressed his intentions to talk with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to solve the abduction issues. Abe said the US President Donald Trump will meet the abductees’ families for the first time since 2017 during his next visit to Japan later this month.
